System Specification

A system specification is created by observing the following points

• understanding the clients requirements;
• obtaining vessel particulars, and
• assessing the system that will fulfil the requirements.

From this, Ship Dynamics can

• provide a recommended Scope of Supply, and
• provide a cost and schedule against it.

Ideally, the Vessel particulars required from the client to specify an appropriate system are

• hull shape or hull lines;
• operating displacement;
• transverse metacentric height, and
• general arrangement drawing.
